John B. Gregory, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. John B. Gregory is an ankle and foot surgeon who has been providing medical and surgical care since 1993. After earning his doctorate degree from Temple University, he completed his internship in orthopedic ankle and foot surgery in Boston’s Harvard Hospitals. He then completed a two year ankle and foot surgical residency with an additional sports medicine fellowship in Los Angeles’ Columbia and Pomona Valley Hospitals. Dr. Gregory was chief resident in a level 1 trauma hospital, not only treating patients from ER to OR, but he was also involved in private outpatient clinics, treating Olympic and Eco-challenge athletes during his sports medicine fellowship. While in California, he continued to serve as assistant residency director for two surgical residency programs. From 2000-2004 Dr. Gregory ran a private practice in Maine and was secretary of the Maine Foot and Ankle Society. He also provided care for the Boston and Maine marathons as well as for the New England Corporate games.
In 2005 Dr. Gregory sought to open his own practice in an underserved area that offered great outdoor pursuits and a strong family community. The upper valley filled that niche.
